Nyman Turkish PC Files Lawsuit Against NOSSCR in D.C. Superior Court

Washington, D.C. – February 21, 2025 – Nyman Turkish PC, a leading Social Security Disability law firm, has filed a lawsuit against the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) in the Superior Court for the District of Columbia (Case No: 2025-CAB-000940), seeking injunctive relief and damages.

On February 19, 2025, legal documents, including a Summons, Information Sheet, Complaint for Injunctive Relief and Damages, and Exhibits, were officially served to NOSSCR at their registered agent, Prentice-Hall Corporation System, Inc., located at 1090 Vermont Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20005. The service was accepted by Alex Hannigan, a Litigation Management Representative, authorized to receive such documents.

While specific allegations have not yet been publicly disclosed, this lawsuit is expected to have broad implications for organizations involved in Social Security Disability advocacy and representation.

Nyman Turkish PC, founded in 1980, has been at the forefront of Social Security Disability law, advocating for claimants nationwide. The firm’s senior partner, William Turkish, is a longstanding member of NOSSCR, underscoring the significance of this legal dispute.
